As a travel counselor, it is in my job description to qualify my clients to lead them to the perfect vacation for their needs. So when it became time for me to plan my own family’s vacation, the Key West Luxury Village at the Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort in Turks and Caicos fit the bill perfectly. With Courtney’s fondness of Elmo and all things Sesame Street, and my and Nick’s desire for sunshine, beach and relaxation – The Beaches Turks and Caicos is just that, PERFECTION!
I have a very long travel bucket list and Turks and Caicos has always been on the top of my list. The Turks and Caicos Islands, 40 in all and only 8 of which are inhabited, are scattered just south of the Bahamas and are the perfect destination for a Caribbean vacation. With so many things to do and see, there is something here for everyone. The white sand beaches and turquoise water are truly a beautiful sight.
Key West Luxury Village is a resort within Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages and Spa. Guests staying in this village section have access to all of the restaurants, activities and amenities at Beaches Turks & Caicos. Located on a 12-mile expanse of pristine beach and bordered by a natural reef system, this hotel is home to clear waters in hundreds of shades of turquoise and is one of the most popular scuba diving destinations in the world. This tranquil resort welcomes singles, honeymooners, couples of all ages, and families with children. We absolutely loved the Key West Luxury Village as it was quiet, beautiful and luxurious. The Key West Luxury Village offers fantastic rooms, and 1, 2, 3 and 4-bedroom Villas. This property is perfect for the family looking for a little extra room or a large group/family traveling together with all the amenities of an all-inclusive resort.
Next door at the Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort Villages, you have access to the Caribbean Village, the French Village and the Italian Village. All of the Villages are within walking distance through the resort grounds or on the boardwalk that runs along the pristine white sand beach. The Caribbean Village is one of the original villages and offers two large pools, many restaurants/bars, a Kids Club and the main area for the Camp Sesame Street. The other beachfront village is the Italian Village and also offers a large pool area (this tends to the busiest pool of all of the villages) and has some great restaurant and bar/pub options. Located directly behind the Italian Village, you will find the French Village with another great pool, with the main stage and The Pirate Island waterparks (fun for all ages).
The service, amenities and dining at the Key West Luxury Village and Beaches Turks and Caicos are truly the best in the industry. My husband and I have been fortunate to have experienced many All-Inclusive resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean and both agreed that this property offered some of the best dining experiences. Don’t be discouraged by the cost of this resort, as I have no doubt that you will feel like it was worth every penny!
