Early Bird registration deadline extended to January 8, 2018! Please register by this date to qualify for the Early Bird registration fee.

Travel Awards will be available for PhD/MD/DVM students and early career investigators (within 5 years of receiving doctoral degree). The number of awards and dollar amount per award will depend upon the number of applicants and funds raised by the Local Organizing Committee. Awards will be granted on a competitive basis as determined by the quality of submitted abstracts to be judged by expert reviewers. To be eligible for a Travel Award, applicants must register by the Early Bird Deadline of January 08, 2017.

4/17/18 Update:

All submitted abstracts were accepted for oral or poster presentation. If your abstract was accepted for Oral Presentation, you would already have been notified by the Chair of the Session in which you will be presenting. If you did not hear from a Session Chair, then your abstract was accepted for Poster Presentation.

Note: to all Trainees who were selected to give oral presentations! In addition to your Oral Presentation, we request that you also bring your work as a Poster. We believe that presenting both will maximize your educational experience as a Trainee at Relaxin and Related Peptides 2018.  Poster Presentations are valuable and rewarding because they afford the time and opportunity for meaningful discussion with other Scientists about your work. We will only be judging the Poster Presentations by Trainees, and are offering monetary awards for the top 3.

  • 1st Place: $400
  • 2nd Place: $200
  • 3rd Place: $100

The poster dimensions are 3 feet high by 4 feet wide (121 cm wide by 91cm high).

Destination – Cabo San Lucas, Mexico:

In the south of the Baja California peninsula you’ll find Los Cabos, one of the most beautiful and exclusive destinations in Mexico. It is an amazing place with numerous attractions and one of the most spectacular natural sights in the world. If you want to discover the surroundings and go on excursions, we recommend you to visit places like San José del Cabo, the swamp conservation area of San José del Cabo, the National Marine Park of Cabo Pulmo, and spectacular beaches such as Playa El Médano, Playa El Arco, not to mention spotting the blue whale.

In Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, we find the Hotel Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas. It is surrounded by splendid gardens with beautiful views of the beach and luxurious service for guests to enjoy during their stay.

This Palace, with its relaxing atmosphere, offers the best way to regain strength and escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. It includes two freshwater swimming pools, a Jacuzzi, solarium terrace, gym, sauna, and the “Renova Spa” wellness center with a range of different treatments.

Thanks to the All-Inclusive system, you can enjoy Mexican cuisine at its best. It includes a wide variety of recipes and is recognized for its distinctive and sophisticated flavors which incorporate many spices. It is a combination of gastronomic traditions, including Mesoamerican and European, as well as many others, which is why the buffet restaurant and the different themed restaurants of the hotel offer the best menus and made to order dishes.

You will also find numerous activities and sports to enjoy during your stay. You can go diving, play volleyball, do gymnastics, windsurfing, catamaran, kayaking, body-boarding, golf and many water sports at the beach. At night, you mustn’t miss the different shows and live music organized for you by our entertainers. If you want to go dancing, we invite you to the “Pacha” club where DJs play the best beats.
